The Black Prince Winery’s 10^th Anniversary Celebration Reserve.

The 2010 vintage is turning out to be the best in recent memory. In Prince Edward County it was a banner grape harvest and to coinside with our 10^th Anniversary we are crafting two wines of super premium quality which are now maturing in new Prince Edward County local oak casks.

MERLOT 2010 10^th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION RESERVE

Very deep and well extracted fruit already showing poise and finesse with a sound tannin backbone, this wine will continue to mature over a number of years and will be bottled and released in August 2012.

CHARDONNAY 2010  10^TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION RESERVE VQA

The free run juice and very light pressing has combined to produce a wine with softer structure and roundness not previously achieved, which we have enhanced with time spent in our native oak barrels. Release is planned for March 2012.
